Results Of 617 946 estimated acute ischemic stroke, 398 661 (65.5%) were >65 years, 386 096 (63.5%) Medicare beneficiaries. Lower Medicaid or self‐pay status more commonly observed Black Hispanic versus White ( P <0.001). In multivariable regression, likely have a (odds ratio 1.41, [95% CI 1.28–1.55]) compared patients. Race not independently charges. Conclusion These results build on prior population‐based studies that indicate based differences socioeconomic race, difference Disposition delays may be due clinical severity access rehabilitation facilities.
